Superfriends are online I went online to find the time In New York State, so far away My friends are there, it's not hard to care When the day-to-day begins to weigh Stupid dorky conversations keep me up at night But I gotta say, I really don't mind Feelings come easy when you're logging on I've been posting for way too long Fragility keeps me strong It's okay to admit you're wrong Feelings come easy when you're logging on I've been posting for way too long Fragility keeps me strong It's okay to admit you're wrong The road to good habits is paved with procrastination Posting pictures of myself for validation Stable is good, small change is better Hey Harry, you don't need to do it all at once The road to good habits is paved with procrastination Posting pictures of myself for validation Stable is good, small change is better Hey Harry, you don't need to do it all at once

These days I'm mostly scrolling Wikipedia articles Trying to kid myself I'm not wasting time My problem seems to stem from placing people on pedestals One after another, they jostle for the front of my mind What if I'm not good enough? Is it okay What if I'm not alright? It's not okay What about my friends and family? Do they know Will it ever change? They don't know So what if I admit that I've got a problem Will I feel better, or will it just keep dragging on I've been to the gym and I've tried every chemical Go jogging twice a week, one day I'll outrun it all What if I'm not good enough? Is it okay What if I'm not alright? It's not okay What about my friends and family? Do they know Will it ever change? They don't know What if I'm not good enough? Is it okay What if I'm not alright? It's not okay What about my friends and family? Do they know Will it ever change? They don't know Impostor syndrome, definition A debilitating social condition Impostor syndrome, definition Cannot reconcile my position Impostor syndrome, definition A debilitating social condition Impostor syndrome, definition Cannot reconcile my position

Bayham Abbey 02:42
Well, it wasn't in the brochure and the roads were closed We were just diverted from Dover So we split the shallow seas of a pebbled road We got to Bayham Abbey, we were almost alone We got to Bayham Abbey, we were almost alone We got to Bayham Abbey, we were almost alone We got to Bayham Abbey, we were almost alone Well, the ancient tree cracked through monastery stone Beside some dead duke's holiday home Well, I feel the kind of passion that the monks are banned from knowing Around the ruins of Bayham Abbey, we were almost alone Around the ruins of Bayham Abbey, we were almost alone Standing on the rocks, hiding behind an arch with nothing to hold up I kissed you on a platform of demolished bricks I never thought there'd be such magic in it Never reached the castle that was on the coast We made all the wrong turns on the road I never thought I'd love a day this slow It doesn't really matter, cause I'm not alone It doesn't really matter, cause I'm not alone It doesn't really matter, cause I'm not alone It doesn't really matter, cause I'm not alone I'm not alone I'm not alone I'm not alone

Hibernating 02:51
Sweet boy, don't cry I know you just want to be heard But I hear you You are gold and true Gonna meet you in our dreams tonight, okay If you see a river, follow it I'll meet you down at the shore We are just two bears Hibernating together It's okay to be scared We'll walk into the future together Sometimes it's harder to wake up When all your systems and beliefs are shaken up And you'll think it's just one of those days When do we cave? When everything feels the same We are strong and powerful in the river Land problems can't reach us in the water One day we're gonna crush our oppressors We're gonna make it through this winter

about

Superfriends Are Online. Very, very, online - but this summer they're stopping scrolling just long enough to bring you five fresh tracks about self love, self doubt, and selfies.

This is the band’s most ambitious release yet, taking five of their best songs (+1 epilogue track) and packaging them into a blistering 13 minutes. Inspired by such diverse topics as 90s culture, retro technology, English Heritage sites, and long distance friendships, each track is a tightly wound spring of nervous energy waiting to be unleashed via expansive, furious choruses.
